    I've taken a lot of bird pictures that have to be cropped even more than this. While I'm not happy with the detail it is still quite possible to see what bird it is :) and maybe the best I can do with my current lenses. Until I get a better opportunity and get closer to the bird I'll accept the picture, at least for my own archive. I think your frog picture is acceptable at that size, and could perhaps also be improved a bit more with some creative noise reduction and sharpening to give the impression of being a bit better than it is. I agree digital is amazing, there's indeed a lot of info that can be extracted from the megapixels.

    Also, if there are no paystubs for that period, are there any implications in regards to GC processing or any other way ?

    OzIn Some Cases USCIS may ask paystubs before approving the H1(So be careful with company A..you need them until you get the approval notice). In case of GC, couple of months will not effect the process.

    I filed i485 after my i140 approved. But my company was sold to an other company. Till my company didn't file i140 amendment.

    Can i change job after 180 days of filing i485. Even though my amendment is not filed yet.

    what may be the problems.

    My only question with your scenario is the how did you think that even without the current scenario of frontlog how can you expect to receive the I-485 receipt in one week.

    Based on your timeline your PD will be current in Nov, and you can still file after your return, why take chances.

    I will appreciate if you could answer these 2 questions.
    1- If 485 get denied, can I go to company-A and start working on approved H1B
    2- Also, can I use approved 140 at company A (even 485 denied, since not working at A) to extend H1B for 3 years

    You can use the approved I-140 from company A to get a 3 year H-1 for company B assuming your priority date is not current. However, because you have not been working for company A, you are technically not in valid non-immigrant H status and though Company B's H-1 petition should be approved for three years, the extension may not be granted. This means that at some point you would have to leave, get a new H visa and then return.

    Unless it is an expired "conditional status" card, your legal status in the US in no way changes. Only the card expires and not your legal LPR status! I don't quite understand what your "mistake on birthday" comment is all about!

    You are still a legal permanent resident and can apply for a job proving your eligibility with your Social Security card and valid drivers license/state ID.

    Get a new card by filling out form I-90 with USCIS and pay the required fees.

    Does anyone know if people who've filed for I-485 can claim unemployment insurance?......The client where I was working cancelled my project due to budget cuts :(....I was wondering if I can claim unemployment till I find a new job. Does any one know any non-desi companies hiring in the Michigan, Ohio, Illinois or Midwest in general?.....I am PMI certified Project Manager with J2EE background.     my 140 approved and 485 pending over 180 days. now plan to switch job from a big IT company to university (not study, but work in one of dept at Univ), title and job duty will be similar as before, but salary will be lower due to job industry and location changed. does this impact my 485 final approval? thanks

    no you don't have to worry. however when you travel and come back in, it is needed. i believe it might be needed when you try to apply for a visa(extension/change of status etc) in US.

    Just spoke to IO at NSC. Asked about my case. NC is clear and right now processing 09/06 cases so no movement on my case.

    Asked if it has chance getting approved by the end of this year. She said, depending on how many visa no. they get from DOS, there are fair chances that it may get approved by the end of this year.

    I still do not trust them, but her kind words gave me little hope.
