Foster the People never thought I could fit in the Grammy Awards. Of course they are honored with it. Nominated for Grammy Awards, despite not winning can be a feat in itself for them.
Band newcomer Foster the People could steal the show until it snaps in two 2012 Grammy Awards nominations. Indie pop band The shock can also claim the nomination.
Mark Foster cs nominated for Best Alternative Album and Best Pop Duo / Group Performance. Nominated in the first he had to compete with Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket and Radiohead. While in the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance rival Foster the People tighter. They are Tony Bennett duet Amy Winehouse, The Black Keys, Coldplay and Maroon 5 duet Christina Aguilera.
"How can we compete with Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Maroon 5 as well. They're so cool. I do not know if we have a chance," said the bassist Cubbie Fink.
"Actually this is so funny, because we never thought could be an award under any circumstances. But my mother was glad to hear it. It's Grammy Awards, it's cool," he explained.
The highlight of the 52nd Grammy Awards will be held on February 12. Foster the People did not know what that will do the event.
"We have not thought about it, maybe I'll borrow one of the unique costumes Lady Gaga," joked drummer Mark Pontius.
